Lucullus Antiques: New Orleans and Breaux Bridge

Beautiful images from Lucullus, epicurean antique store in New Orleans and Breaux Bridge Louisiana (second store opened when New Orleans was clinging for dear life after Katrina.) Lucullus has everything French for the stomach - furniture in which to sit while you eat, plates for your food, glasses for your wine, pots to cook in and much more. Heure pour le dîner!

  1. One of my fave trips was to NO and I made my friend who's a native of LA go to Lucullus with me. I had (still have some) a huge collection of copper and wanted to see how Patrick arranged his. I remember their faux stone floor.

  2. Fairfax: I want to see his Breaux Bridge store so bad! There's another fabulous store there that I need to talk about on here. Unbelievable! The owner lives in the 18th century, truly remarkable.
    Thanks for your comments!

  5. I love this shop, I first "accidently" popped in on my very first trip to New Orleans in 1986...a long time ago and have yearned to return. Sigh!
